Total of Multiple Devices
Calculate the total value of a group type by adding up the same variable for multiple machines.
Install
This app adds up the same variable for multiple devices of the same group type. For example, it can display the total energy production of all hydropower plants.
This widget works on device detail pages and main pages.
For this app, the source code is available on Github.
Please note: This is a Workshop app provided as-is by IXON. While we don't provide official support, you are welcome to report suggestions, requests or issues on GitHub. The community and IXON staff can address these as time permits, but no priority support is available.
Follow these steps to install:
- Step 1: Click the ‘Install’ button.
- Step 2: Select your IXON company account and press 'Install'.
- Step 3: Enable the app in Admin > Apps > Enable.
- Step 4: Go to the Fleet manager > define the variables and tags you want to sum up between devices.
- Step 5: Go to the Studio > create a page and drag and drop the Total of multiple devices component onto the page.
- Step 6: Add the Customer group type and define the tag. You can then view the total of all similar devices in the same group based on the selected device.
Note: Make sure the variables and tags at the different devices do have the same tag identifiers, e.g.: siemens-plc.tag.energy-production. Also add the machines to the same group, e.g. group type Customer with group Customer A.
